first_imgELLSWORTH — Trenton’s Dennis Damon is one of 11 individuals set to be inducted into the Maine Baseball Hall of Fame in July, the organization announced in a statement Friday.Damon founded the Acadians American Legion team and has served as state field director for American Legion for 22 years. He also served as a Democratic state senator representing central Hancock County from 2002-10.Other inductees will include late Mattawamkeag Merchants pitcher Gil Arnold, former Orono High School standout Dave Paul and former Piscataquis coach Dave Gaw.
